One of the best dreams I've ever had were the flying ones. Here is a nice describtion of what I'm talking about: I dreamed that I could fly in the air, rose above the town below, and high into the night sky. It felt wonderful. I had no fear and could float gently down to earth whenever I wanted. (Charles N- New York) So I did the reaserch online and here is what I found. To dream of flying is usually a pleasant experience and is accompanied by a sense of exhilaration and freedom. It usually feels completely natural as if we have somehow always known how to do this. The obstructions and shackles that have held you down have been released and you can now experience the same sense of freedom that we see in the birds that soar in the sky. The sky may symbolise consciousness and spirituality so to dream of flying can represent the expansion of your awareness and the unfolding of your higher self. Nevertheless, flying also has its perils. The ancient Greek myth of Icarus warns us not to fly too high. Your dream may show that you are being over ambitious. If you are flying with ease and enjoying the scene and landscape below, then it suggests that you are on top of a situation. You have risen above something. It may also mean that you have gained a different perspective on things.
Flying dreams and the ability to control your flight is representative of your own personal sense of power. If you are feeling fear when you are flying or that you feel that you are flying too high, then it suggests that you are afraid of challenges and of success. Are you mature?
What does being mature means to me? In my opinion there are three levels of maturity. The first one is being physically mature. It comes with the age. You get older, you become mature. The second one is being mentally mature. You take responsiblities for your actions. You take responsibilities for whatever you say. The third one is being emotionally mature. You are emotionally stable and you're comitted to whatever your belives are. Menomena - E is stable
Peole say that experience is the best teacher. And I completely agree with that. But instead of learning from your own experience I think the key is to learn from the experience of others. Learning on your mistakes is wise but making the same mistake twice is a sign of being immature. People make mistakes, but only wise people learn from their mistakes. The sooner you relize that the sooner you'll become mentally mature. Okey so with that being said we gotta talk about being emotionally stable.
I belive that the first step is to have the abilty to love people. No matter what skin color the are or what kind of religious views they have, because at the end of the day we're not enemies but friends, right? If you found the purpose in life stay commited to it. When you say something, do it. Always listen to what other people have to say before you form your own conclusion, even if you don't agree with them. Be generous as much as you can, don't be selfish. Giving is much better than taking. And it brings undescribable joy.

Sorry, but you are not entitled to your opinion
Type “I am entitled to my opinion” into a Google search and you will see that it is a standard riposte of the frustrated debater, on topics as diverse as politics, religion, music and football.The idea that everyone is entitled to his opinion is one of those truisms so often repeated that it now goes without saying. Like many truisms, however, it is false. The entitlement would be relevant only if it guaranteed the truth of your opinions. But it can’t do that, because it is an entitlement supposedly enjoyed by everybody. And people disagree. Jack and Jill are both entitled to their contradictory opinions about trade and poverty, but they can’t both be right. So insisting that you are entitled to your opinion cannot possibly give you any proper advantage in a debate. Especially since there is no such entitlement in the first place. The law gives us all a right to life. Your right to life means that everyone else has a duty not to kill you. This is not something that the Government may or may not decide to associate with your right to life; it is that right. Okey I'm just about to finish reading The Purpose Driven Life so it's time for some more quotes. You know, when I read a book I often write down interesting quotes from it. The second to Timothy
Here is the 2th part: God didn’t give us a spirit that makes us weak and fearful. He gave us a spirit that gives us power and love. It helps us control ourselves. God has saved us. He has chosen us to live a holy life. It wasn’t because of anything we have done. It was because of his own purpose and grace. Be strong in the grace that is found in Christ Jesus. Okey. It's gonna be some more quotes from Warren's book. I just don't wanna forget this that's why i need to write it down. Life is like a marathon
For me it really is. And in the marathon, it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish right? But without a good solid training you won't be able to finish, and that's why fewer people finish than start. That's why before you start to train you need to understand the importance of discipline. When you start the race all your attention must be center on the finish line. I just finished reading a book called: Finding the love of your life by Neil Clark Warren and I think that I got some valuble informations I wanna share with you. Mario - Let me love you. Be patient man
I learn that every single day. To be patient when it comes to realationships, reaching goals, finding the truth, I mean everything. Sad thing is that most of us are just lazy we struggle with procrastination and we just wait for all of it to just make sense one day. But not everyone knows that some of the best things in life require years of hard work and even more years of waiting. It's hard but it's definitely worth taking a shot.
Some things just can't be rushed you know. In fact they don't always work out as planned. What I mean by that is that you need to be prepered for the unexpected. And you have to figure out for yourself how to make the most out of each and every minute. How to be more productive and how to enjoy doing what you do. You probably heard that if you do something for the love what you get back is far more than money can buy. So just love what you do and do what you love.
Friendship and loyalty. That's what comes to my mind when I think about patience. My friends were always there for me when i needed it the most. And if you find yourself in a situation when everybody you valued let you down well you just gotta hold on to your goals and go after it. If you know your priorities it doesn't matter what everybody else have to say. Wanna go back in time?
Do you ever wish you could go back in time and correct your past? Maybe just one thing one mistake you have made or some wrong choice that change your life forever. Or something you just did without realizing the price it will later cost you... Yes we've all been there. But one thing I know for sure, there is always hope and there is always a way. It's not so much about the things you say but more about what you do. So I think that if you wanna move on with your life you need to stop running, make up your mind and figure out what exactly you want to do with it. I'm not always proud of what I've done in the past but sometimes you just gotta move on and keep going forward. But there is the other side of the coin. And that's when you start blaming yourself for something you can't change anyway. You worry too much and you're just so stressed out all the time.

When it becomes a habit...
When you do something consistently than it becomes a habit. And it's good to have good habits. And it's terrible to have bad ones you know. For instance quitting maight become a habit as well as compiting with others. People that are spoiled struggle with quiting. That's a fact. But you really don't have to be spoiled to be a quitter and you don't have to be deprived to be competitive. Simon and Garfulkel - The sound of silence..
It's easy. For something to become a habit, it must be done consistently. Once it becomes a habit, then you're not even aware of it. It's just as normal to you as other your other daily rutines in your life. So the best thing to do is to work on something little by little but consistently. Sometimes it takes years of practice and training to become a true master. But it all depands how far are you are willing to go. And how much are you willing to sacrifice.
You see, we need to remind ourselves about it. It might be so obvious but if you don't do it soon you're gonna forget. It's just how it works. It starts with an idea but it doesn't end there, right? So knowing what is right from wrong doesn't mean anything unless you do what's right. And making the right choice is never easy. Just because you know where you're going doesn't mean that getting to the end of it is gonna be easy.

So what if you fail?
If you fail, will you try again? You should. Trying may not always pay off, but it shapes your character. One thing that I'm sure of is that it's never too late to make a change for the better. So in my previous post I was trying to explain that it is really important to have the mentality of saying yes even when in the back of your head you hear the opposite. Imagine that your mind is a battlefield. And all the important decisions you make in your life are wars. Some of them are small and some are big. Sometimes you'll loose a battle, but don't forget that you're fighting a war. So lose the battle, but win the war!
I failed many times in many ways but I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one out there. Remember that there will always be that one big goal in your life that still remains. You just gotta focus on it and take one step at the time. You might seem strong right now in one area, but will you remain strong in 5, 10 or 15 years? You'll have many losing streaks but if they only can make you stronger then you're already a winner my friend.

Get the best out of yourself!
You probably know this saying: Never put of until tomorrow what you can do today. So have you ever felt like you just couldn't get it done today because you were so tired and too exhausted? Or maybe you just didn't have enough motivation for whatever reason. Well I know that I have days like that, so I wanna tell you where I get the motivation from and what motivates me the most. I usually workout every day. You know pullups, pushups and sit ups. I have a pull-bar in between my door and sometimes I just feel like it's the last thing that I wanna do at the moment. But as soon as that thought goes through my mind there is another one which tells me: probably 9 out of 10 people right now will simply give up and choose not to do it. But I'm not like them. I'm me and I'll do it my way.
So I'll end up doing it anyway even that my mind is tired and my body refuses. I always push myself to the limits to get the best out of myself. When I run 20 laps which is 5 miles, even that I'm really exhausted after the 19th lap, I'll always sprint the last one. So it's all about that mentality of doing things that seem to be too hard. And the best reward is to have that certain feeling of accomplishment.

It's my birthday
What it do, what it do peoples. My blog is now officially open. It's 8th of July I'm in Florida and tonight's party is going down. I'm gonna play one of my favorite songs of all time: Pac: Changes. Here is the thing. If you like my blog, please share the link to this site with three of your friends and tell them to do the same. That's probably the easiest way to meet tons of new people. Because it's all about having fun, making new friends and people you can count on. Ain't it?
Life is good, man. Even if you struggle or just had a terrible day at work or school, there is always a way and it's up to you how you're gonna solve the problem. The only advice I can give you is to have a back up plan. Always remember about your priorities and goals in life and never let them die. Rather than hate try to appericiate what you got. Well, I guess my conclusion is: Live every day like it was your last. And don't forget, money is not the key here.

It takes only a moment to create your enemies, and years to build a real frendship. Think about it. Love is the answer. Be different. Be a good example. Ain't nothing wrong with that so let people see it. I guarantee that your life is not gonna be boring. It's okey to say: no. Especially if you know that you don't agree with something. Let them hear you.

Childhood memories
Here is a song for today's post: Howard Shore: Lord Of The Rings. So last night I was thinking about moments I remember the most from my childhood. Actually I was trying to figure out what's the first flash back I remember. It took me a while but I finally got it. So I turned all lights off, as well as music. And I was just laying on the bed with my eyes closed slowely moving back in time for about 15 years.
I'm in the kitchen and my dad just fixed some good garlick buttery toasts. It was about 6.00 in the morning. Everyone was still asleep. So we've talked, you know just silly stuff that six years old kid would ask his dad. And I remember I loved the piece of quiet in the morning. Since that time I would wake up earlier each morning. I guess I didn't wanna waste any minute of the day. My dad told me once: If you're gonna work hard people will repect you. So be precise with the little things and when it comes to bigger onece you'll be able to handle it. And I took his advice.
I remember my first love also known as basketball. Everything started with my older brother Mike. He started playing streetball with his friends and I would come to watch them. They were bigger, taller and stronger. But between games I was the only one on that court shooting hoops. And when everyone left I was still there utill very late evening. So one day they didn't have enough players and they were forced to use me. Ever since that day I was playing regulary with them. That's how I felt in love with the game of basketball.

Just google it
You know how people always ask dumb questions and expect you to answer. There is two reason why that happens. One, they really don't know that 99 percent of their questions has been already asked before. And there are answers, of course you can find on the internet. Second, they might know answers but still ask quesions just to keep a convrsation alive. And that's something I would do. You know especialy if you're trying to get to know each other you ask simple, but not dumb questions. And that's okey. Here is a song for today's post: Biggie: Mo money mo problems.
You know that you supposed to listen to it while you're reading right? Just making sure. Before I decided to write about doing a reaserch online I already knew that someone came up with an idea of creating a site that includes directions for those of us who struggle with googling. So check this out: Got a dumb question? Pretty funny, isn't it? Yeah but that dude is exactly right. Instead of asking think about it, google it and you will be not only surprised with the results but you're also gonna learn something new.

The black sheep
That's how some of my teachers in highschool and middleschool used to call me. I would always argue with them just to prove my point. And a lot of times I was right, not always though. Sometimes I would treat them disrespectfully like I didn't give a shit about what they were trying to tell me. And that got me into a serious trouble a couple of times. But highschool years I remember as one of the best in my life. Lots of good memories, epecially days when I would go to some important exam completely unprepared. My excuse was always the same: playing basketball was more important. TI: Live in the sky.
But I got through highschool with prett good grades. And just to describe you a guy who I was back in the day let me tell you this story. One of my friends came to me after a math class with a question: How is it possible Jimmy that you don't get drunk and hardly go to the parties where you know people are gonna do drugs and drink till they pass out and you still can be the most popular and liked person in class? I don't remember what my answer was but now when I look back it seems to me like i would tell her: It's about having a certain view at how you wanna go through this journey called life.
There is nothing wrong with drinking but if you know that you can't or don't wanna controll yourself then you've need to relize that you might have a serious problem. What I'm trying to say here is that controling yourself and knowing your limits is something I very important. Not only to people who have drinking problems. But you need to learn that you will have to face the concecuencess of doing something unpredictable. Especially if you can't control yourself because of your previous actions. Sometimes one stupid mistake you accidently made might cost you a price that you'll have to pay till you die.

Be yourself
Do you have problem sometimes keeping a straight face. Like when you're around some ridiculous looking folks or something hillarius just came to your head and you really can't kick it out of there. Honestly I can point at least two events where I was holding my laughter for so long and I got to the point when I just couldn't hold it anymore. What happened next is the best part but consequences of my behvave weren't so funny. Anyways in both cases I literally exploded with laughter. It was bad. Pac: Baby Don't Cry.
One time it happened in church during my pastors prayer. It was probably 8 years ago but it seems like yesterday. I felt bad afterwords because you suppoosed to be serious when you're in church attending the service. Second time I was watching TV and I just started laughing so hard that it made my stomach hurt. There was no way that i could stop it. I didn't even wanna stop. I know that it was inappropriate at the church but when I was at home I didn't have to worry about anything. If you've never experience such a laughter you don't know what you've missed.
Anyway laughing is good for you. I would say that I am a fun person to be around. But through all these years I've learned that you need to know where the line is drawn. And I guess it also comes with age. You're more responsible because you're actions are based on experience. But you can never forget that sometimes you just have to laugh at yourself. It's helthy. My conclusion is this: Don’t be someone you’re not. Don't pretend but rather than that be the person you are no matter who you're with. If we all had identical personalities the world we're living in would be so boring. Don't you think?

Just living life
There is so many places and things to see in this world that I might run out of time before I see and visit all of them. I wanna go to Jamaica, Bahamas and many countries in Africa. Hopfully I will be able to do that. Let's get to the point though. Traveling is one of the collest things people can do. Just to see different coultures, the beauty of nature and you gain lots of memories that you're gonna remember till the rest of your life. Sometimes it really doesn't take too much effort. You just need to pay attention to the beauty of creation that surround you. Usually we just don't have time to even notice it. That's gotta change. Bobby Valentino: Tell Me.
One of the other ideas I'm thinking about is a road trip across the United States. That would be so awesome. I wouldn't go alone of course but with a good friend or two. It takes a lots of planning but it all starts with an idea. All you need to do is just make it happen. I know some of my friends has done it before. But they're just old and all of them are married. That's why i relized that the best time for somehing like a road trip is when you're still between 20-28 years old. It would all need to be planed a year before though.
So don't be surprised if one day I'll write here about a road trip to one of these places. The bottom line is don't tell yourself: Yea maybe I'll do it someday. If there is a place you really wanna go and it was always one of your dreams I encourage you to do it. It's all about planning, setting your priorities and managing your time. That's where you need to start. Saving your money for the trip is another thing but it's not like there ain't no jobs out there. Especially during the summer time. So just think about it and let's see what you're gonna come up with.

On your own
You know what time it is. Let's start with Road to Perdition: Theme. I've always wanted to be on my own. I mean there comes a time in everyone's life where you just gotta step up and be the man. First thing you do is moving out of your parents house. Second thing you do is you just live your life. Third thing well you're broke but happy as hell. There also comes a time in everyone's life where you realize who your friends are and who your friends no longer are. And that's how you find roomates and with some of them you're gonna be friends for the rest of your life.
Then there is a question. Am I gonna go to college or am I taking a year off which usually becomes longer than 12 months. Well going to college might be the best adventure in your entire life. And for most of the people I know it was. When it comes to paying for college there are plenty of ways to figure it out. I'm not gonna disscus that but let me tell you something: reaserch is the key. That's what I've learned so far. The problem here is that we are so damn lazy and of course too busy for that. So I just wanna encourage you to do the first step which I basically mentioned above.
Now, gtting to the point what I really couldn't stand at my parents house was that they would always tell me what to do. And yours probably did that too. They wanna know everything, they wanna control and be involved in your life as much as possible. No doubt that they have good intentions. But there comes a time when you finally understand who you really are and what you really wanna do with your life. And when that happenes your ready to start living on your own.

My quiet time
I am the kind of person that needs a quiet time. I can go early in the morning or late evning to some basketball court and shoot hoops for hours. I can ride my bike for a long time around my neighborgood listening to music. There are plenty of ways to be left alone, just you with your thoughts. Sometimes i find myself thinking about friends form my childhood that i lost touch with or some random people that I've met once and havent't seen them since. I was able to find a couple of them through facebook. Okey time for some music: Pac: Komradz.
Some of people that I've known for a long time are already married. All of them are girls though. One is pregnet another has a child. You know some people will never learn but you know what you make your choice and you're the one that has to be responsible for it There is no way around it. If you don't wanna fuck up you're life you have to be responsible for the choices you make. I'm not here to judge because it's really not my role, and not my problem. I just wanna say, be smart about what you doing with your life and think three times before you do something stupid.
Do you think that life is all about making choices? Then you're damn right. Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. But I'm telling you some people wouldn't learn on their mistakes even after a 100 time... Well If you really wanna screw up your life, then go ahead but I am not going with you. I'm so tired of that bullshit talk like everybody does this and that, and I had to do it. People say that wisdom comes with age. It does but with some irresponsible decisions that you happened to make in your youth you're gonna have to live for the rest of your life. And there is no going back.

8th of July
I was born on July 8th 1987. Damn, it bacically means that I'm gonna be 21 in few days. Live goes by so fast, i can tell you that. So i'm sitting in front of my pc, listenng to Pac: Krazy . Ain't nothinng like a good solid bit. And i'm thinking here, the last two years of my life were most definitely the best. You know how it is when you're waiting for something for so long, making your plans and priorities. Imagine waiting years for some of your sweetest dreams. And then, that feeling of freedom and joy when it comes true.
I've always known that if you work hard and belive in yourself you can accomplish great things. And it really is that simple. The road to your goal isn't that easy, but the most important thing is that you can't give up. Last year I was on the train to Philly. In front of me there was a black guy with three little daughters. They were so precious and beautifull that I couldn't stop lokking at them, smiling at the same time. I'll never forget that. For one thing it really made my day. But what is more important it's one of those things that it's hard to forget.
It took my a while to figure it out, but family comes first, man. I personally belive that marriage is one of the greatest blessings God has given us. I know I'm just 21 but it really got me thinking lately. You're gonna spend the rest of your life with the person that you love so much you could do anything for her. And with that right there come all kind of responsibilities. Is something you learn your whole life. It takes little steps through pain and disappointment which finally leads to the point when you are proud of yourself and you get stuck with memories that shape your character for the rest of your life. And it's worth it.

26th of June
It's my mom's birthday. Also this year my mom and dad are celebrating 25 years of beaing married. I know I'm lucky. Not everyone had a chance to be raised by both parents. I know what I'm talking about. I'm sitting in front of my pc listening to Pac: Dear Mama. So I decided to do something special for them. When I look back and realize how much they've done for me, there is only one thing that comes to my mind: Thank You Mom and Dad.
Here is a couple of words thet express how i feel: You were always there for me, and you never let me down. Even though I've often given you a hard time deep in my heart I've always known that you love me. You have showed me the way to live by being such a great example. I want you to know that I really appericiate how you raised me. Because of You I am who I am and it's never going to change. I Love You Mom And Dad. Your Son J.J.

There is also so many good memories from my childhood. It's all because my parents did everything they could to make sure that I have had a great example in them.
